Chocolate Shakeology Balls 02/28/12

Shakeology can be used in so many different ways! I saw this recipe in Chalene Johnson’s new book PUSH, which I highly recommend!

These little bite sized snacks are amazing! I made them last week and they disappeared in a few days, between family, friends and myself! I made a second batch and doubled the recipe, making about two dozen. They keep you full for a long period of time and at only 135 calories for two “cookies” how can you say no?!

Chocolate Shakeology Balls

1 cup of PB2 powdered peanut butter

1/2 cup of all natural peanut butter

1 cup of quick oats

1/2 cup of unsweetened applecause

1 scoop of Chocolate Shakeology

Makes 12

Mix together, it’s going to be pretty sticky at first, and roll into ping pong sized balls. You can either eat them immediately or put them in the freezer. I keep them in the freezer, they take a little longer to eat that way. I have a major sweet tooth so these yummy protein cookies really hit the spot when I’m craving a piece of chocolate.

Per serving (2 cookies): 135 calories, 8g protein, 13g carbohydrates, 7g total fat, 3g dietary fiber, 13mg sodium

Give them a go and let me know what you think!
