90 Days of Turbo Fire 06/08/12
This morning marked day 35 of Turbo Fire! I woke up to Chalene Johnson and some rocking music with Fire 55 EZ, 55 min of pure, intense cardio and I loved every minute. I have to admit….., I think I’m addicted to Turbo. I teach it, take live classes and do Turbo Fire at home 6 days a week.
I’ve tried a lot of workouts, but nothing compares to Turbo Kick and Turbo Fire. I could be having a terrible day and not feel like working out, but once I hear the music I’m pumped and ready to go! It’s fun, high energy, and I get an amazing workout.
On day one of Turbo Fire I took my measurements and weighed in, on day 30 I did the same thing. So far, I’ve lost one pound and 3 inches overall! My abs, arms, and legs are becoming more defined and I’m loving the way I feel!
I’ve also been more disciplined about writing down what I eat. I’ve been using the online and iPhone app, http://www.myfitnesspal.com/. It’s an awesome service. It’s free and has a large database of food, so I don’t have to guess how many calories I’m consuming. Writing down what I eat has really helped me focus in on where I eat too much or too little. I find that when I get home for work, I’m snacking too much before dinner. That seems to be a challenging time for me. But, now that I’ve realized where my weakness is, I can work to overcome it.
When I don’t have time to log what I’m eating I’ve been taking pictures of my food with my iPhone. I find that this really helps keep me accountable, I also have a great way of looking back at what I ate throughout the day.
I’ll keep you updated on my progress and this 90 day journey of Turbo Fire. I can’t wait to see the results at the end, just in time for a Hawaiian vacation!
